As I said, these pruning shears are sharp, and so they cut by way of issues that my fiskar's pruners will not cut, and so they minimize simply as nicely--if not better--than my felcos (my felco's are most likely a bit dull in the meanwhile, so it's a tough comparison). I've small hands ("small" gardening gloves are often too huge for me), and normally use the felco's for small arms, but the Truly Garden pruning shears work just as nicely for me, and they actually make it a bit easier to make use of two palms to chop through thicker/harder wooden. These pruning shears also work nice for my husband, who has bigger palms. The only slight draw back to these pruning shears is that the locking mechanism is a bit hard to lock. It's stiff, and i must push a bit to lock the shears. Perhaps a little bit of oil would assist make them easier to lock. This really isn't too huge of an issue, although, as I often do not lock them, anyways, as I retailer them in their spiffy sheath! I like that the blade is bigger than on my flecos--this enables me to chop up comfery and other mulches rapidly and simply. Pruning
Wood Ranger Power Shears shop are my go-to device for just about the whole lot from slicing up mulches, to pruning again blackberries, to chopping salmonberries and pruning tree limbs. These shears work wonderfully in any respect of these duties! All in all, these are Fantastic pruning shears, and you get an enormous bang for you buck with these. If you are trying to decide between felcos or Truly Garden for pruning shears, I'd selected Truly Garden. You get the sheath as well as shears which can be comparable to felcos, for nearly half the price.
